Small Food Bakery and Store is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9.20-3.30pm. Within the bakery you will find Ania Becker, and Kimberley Bell, bakers in residence who both work exclusively with local and direct trade ingredients to make breads, cakes, pastries, ferments, pickles and lots more. You will also find a good selection of local and direct trade organic and homegrown fruit and veg for sale alongside other general grocery items.

Also sharing space with us, you will find Beam Books and Coffee where you can enjoy some of the best coffee in the city, teas, cold drinks and chocolate. You can sit and enjoy their drinks, alongside our food in any of the spaces; the kitchen is open to a seating area, garden terrace and the gallery bookshop. Dogs are welcome on a lead and there is plenty of space for pushchairs and little people.

We are close to the centre of Nottingham, 5 minutes walk from Canning circus, on the corner of Ilkeston Road and Seeley Road.

Pink line buses run from the city centre, numbers 28, 30 and 31. The Stop is Seely Road.

There are 2 hour free parking bays opposite the bakery door on Seely road, and also on Ilkeston Road just outside the Vets and there is free parking after 9.30 am in the bus lane on Ilkeston road opposite Primary.  If those spaces are full, there are also 1 and 2 hour parking bays on Ronald Street and Highhurst Street.

Regretfully, our main entrance does not have a level access, however our Landlord, Primary is currently building a new entrance and bathroom facilities, sheduled to open in July 2023. In the meantime please email ahead if you need to pre-arrange access, alternatively the bakery team will open up the access route for you when you arrive.
